Silent Storm Foundation connects veterans to plant-based therapeutic programs and integration counseling. As co-founder, I launched the nonprofit and supported 15 individuals through our pilot program, securing $16K+ in funding through pitch competitions and scholarships.
Program Design
I designed and launched a pilot program connecting veterans to plant-based therapeutic experiences and structured integration counseling. The program supported 15 individuals, with built-in feedback loops and testimonial capture to refine our approach and demonstrate impact. This early validation informed our long-term strategy and program expansion plans.
Research & Validation
To validate the program model and understand veteran needs, I conducted conversations with 80+ veterans about their experiences with traditional therapy and alternative healing approaches. These insights shaped our program structure, partner selection criteria, and the specific support services we offer around therapeutic experiences.
Fundraising & Growth
I developed a data-informed business plan that secured $16K+ in funding through pitch competitions and scholarships. The plan translated qualitative insights from veteran conversations into a compelling case for our approach, while coordinating with legal and operations teams to formalize program agreements and establish nonprofit infrastructure.
